<description><![CDATA[ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Clinical Delivery Consultants challenge the traditional way of using computers in the healthcare setting. Support Epic access control initiatives throughout the enterprise.  Act as a resource for departments and business units on technical Epic security matters.    Participate in the planning, development, and deployment of Epic access control standards and processes into production. Develop supporting documentation and procedures for these processes. Evaluate and refine existing processes.   Analyze user access needs, develop access roles, and add/change/delete user access to the Epic application.  Provide Epic user security and access support, especially over the phone and direct end users and staff on how to properly submit access requests.    Assist in special projects, such as application go-lives, upgrades, enhancements, etc, and help IT staff as necessary migrate data from the various regions within Epic (POC, MST, PROD, etc.) using standard utilities. <description><![CDATA[Opportunity Description:   Our client is beginning a major new project to replace large components of our Clinical Information Systems.  As such they are aggressively expanding our IT staffing levels by hiring additional employees.  These positions will be located at both our Corporate Headquarters in PA.  Currently the corporate IS department is staffed by more than 175 experienced healthcare IT professionals including a number of employees with clinical licenses degrees or certifications including Nurses Medical Technicians and a Physician Consultant.     We are recruiting for 2  Senoir Clinical  Analysts that  will be responsible for the implementation activities related to our client''s clinical applications.  This includes coordination of Implementation Planning Design Testing Training Go-live and Support - Maintenance activities across multiple Acute Care facilities.  At times the position will be responsible for hands on application configuration and related testing.  Post go-live the position will assist in the monitoring facility issues and will be responsible to resolution of those issues.  The position will also coordinate work assignments between team members in order to meet deadlines and ensure continued progress toward assignment completion. Essential Job Duties:  
System Implementation ~ Regularly meets with users vendors BOS Pharmacy Advisory Committee and IS staff to develop/modify system specifications.  ~ Designs solutions for applications and prepares the appropriate documentation.  ~ Supervises development of test data system testing and documentation for all phases of the application development life cycle.  ~ Performs Q/A on application functionality.  ~ Researches and resolves implementation-related Customer Support Center Tickets.  ~ Adheres to appropriate Project Management standards.  ~ Ensures strict adherence to work plans reporting all serious deviations to management.  ~ Oversees the training of users in operating procedures for application.  ~ Maintains the Pharmacy Conversion and Implementation Project Plans and actively meets with stakeholders to drive project related tasks communications and milestones.   
System Maintenance/Support ~ Researches and resolves Customer Support Center Tickets including major application upgrades.  ~ Adheres to Service Level and Change Management Policies.  ~ Provides on-call support as scheduled.  ~ Maintains End User System and process documentation.  ~ Establishes and maintains regular communications with user community.  ~ Performs routine system maintenance including but not limited to Security Printers and Print routing Profile settings and Nurse Stations; Room and Bed.   
Administration and Oversight ~ Effectively trains analysts in performance of their duties as required.  ~ Provides technical support and guidance to other team members as required.  ~ Maintains Service Excellence principles.  ~ Prepares and promptly submits all routine and special reports.  ~ Interviews applicants for vacant positions as needed using appropriate interview techniques.  ~ Contributes to performance evaluation of junior staff members as needed.  ~ Keeps management well informed of activities needs problems through regular status updates and trip reports.  ~ Performs other tasks as required by management.   
Continuing Education ~ Keeps up-to-date on relevant Pharmacy System Version Changes Bug-Fix and release notes  ~ Keeps abreast on relevant Regulatory Requirements that impact the Pharmacy System such as JCAHO FDA and various State Pharmacy Board Regulations.  ~ Actively participates in increasing education of the Pharmacy System functionality through Webinars User Group meetings Vendor Classes and List Serve etc.    Job Requirements:  Knowledge:  Three or more years of progressively more responsible Pharmacy Information Systems experience.  Prior experience with Cerner''s PharmNet required. Skills: Working knowledge of system application implementation enhancement and support methods and practices. Comprehensive working knowledge of Pharmacy and related computer systems such as Med Distribution and Order Management Systems (ie. Pyxis and Pyxis Connect Cerner) analysis and programming techniques and procedures including: consulting with users to determine hardware software or system functional specifications; design development documentation analysis creation testing coding debugging or modification of computer systems or programs based on and related to user design specifications.  Working knowledge of IS standards and quality methods and metrics.  Working knowledge of project management methods. General familiarity of user business practices concepts and terminology sufficient to support the applications.  Language proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal fluency.
